Karen Schoch is an artist working in fiber and textiles. She grew up in Richmond, Virginia, and moved to the Philadelphia, PA area in 1986. She maintains a studio in her home and works there at least 20 hours a week. She eagerly awaits the completion of her new larger studio, sometime in the spring of 2012. Karen completed her City and Guilds of London, Level 3 Certificate for Patchwork and Quilting in May of 2010. She is member of Studio Art Quilt Associates and the Surface Design Association.

• Karen's quilt Just One was juried into the show Art Quilt Elements 2012. The show will be held at the Wayne Art Center, 413 Maplewood Ave, Wayne PA 19087 from March 30 - May 13, 2012

• Karen exhibited in the fall of 2009 in a one person show at the Cloakroom Gallery in Glenside, PA

• Karen exhibited in the fall of 2005 in a one person show at the Andreas Center in the Westminster Theological Seminary Library.

Karen’s quilts are owned by customers in Ireland, Australia, Canada, and all over the United States.
